TRANSPARENT PUBLIC ARTS CENTER
SECOND YEAR - FALL SEMESTER - 2020
The Transparent Public Arts Center was a project focused on blending computer work and hand drawing into the same project. The first part of the semester was spent designing a community theater for a small, artsy community in Fayetteville, Arkansas. The second part of the semester was used to create an addition attached to the theater. The addition was to be a community arts center, and needed to include a library and a gallery. The project’s theater and community arts center focus on outdoor patios on the entry side to draw in the surrounding neighborhood. The metal screening on the façade of the building allows dappled light into the interior space, connecting the exterior to the interior.
